Showers of Blessings Community Church was established in 2002. The ministry began in a commercial office building and in 2003 we leased an existing church property until May of 2008. In May of 2008 the Lord blessed us with another property that we were able to pay cash for. It was a true answer to prayer and already we can see the hand of God at work within our congregation and in the community. We believe that the Lord's command to make disciples is very important and that total surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ is not optional for the Christian. Our ministry emphasizes a devotion to the Lord, to the Word of God, to fellowship, and to prayer. We believe that in order to be dependent upon the Lord we must learn how to be interdependent upon one another. Our ministry encourages each person to be accountable, not only to God, but our brothers and sisters in the faith.

The leadership of this ministry is committed to equipping believers to serve the Lord. Every Christian has been uniquely gifted by God to serve others in a way that changes lives and brings glory to Jesus Christ. Our goal is to lead each person into a close, personal relationship with Jesus Christ so that they can produce the fruit of a transformed life. We believe that Christians should be willing to sacrifice their lives for the Lord and for others because Jesus sacrificed His life for us.
